She came from the back,
Hooves pounding
Snorting heavy breathes into the wind.
It was only a work out,
Nothing major...
Not yet any way.
The Kentucky Derby was only a few days away.
Moonlight Dancer,
The long shot,
The underdog- or would it be the underhorse?
Nobody thought a filly could win!
Until she did.
